Seoul Hotdog: Experience Authentic Korean Hot Dogs in Berkeley

A must try if in the Berkeley area. These corn dogs are a rare gem in the Bay Area. Although by description they don’t seem like much (a Korean-ized corn dog), they immensely exceeded my expectations. I ordered the sweet potato covered dog and agreed when asked if I wanted to coat it in sugar (because why not??). The outside was perfectly fried, and surprisingly not greasy at all. I’d describe it as the closest cousin to a funnel cake only meatier (meteor?), the texture of the surrounding dough is airy but crispy on the outside. The hot dog inside is not particularly anything special but it shines through in its own ordinarily wonderful way. Will definitely come again!

Amazing environment and delicious Korean Hotdogs, I tried #9 for me and my family and we all loved it I recommend it. The place had friendly workers and a very good vibe from everyone. The wait was approximately 3-5 minutes and there is seating everywhere.

These hotdogs are great, although they are different, they have no bun, instead, they are covered with different crunchy toppings like potatoes. Some of them has less sausage to accommodate for cheese. Then there are the sauce you can add on top, mustard and others. The only drawback here is the lack of mayo. There is a banana drink that is typical Korean and taste like banana., that is recommended if you don't have problems with high sugar drinks. The main problem here was that there was no diet coke.

We came here for mid-afternoon bite per my daughter's recommendation. We got #2 order (Mozza& Sausage). It was very tasty. The batter is just right. I would recommend it everyone. My only regret is that I did not choose spice batter option. Save it for next time I am at Berkeley. Go Bears!

I love Korean corn dogs and this place does it well. You can choose your filling and outside which varies with original, potato, hot cheetos and more. I tried the three cheese with hot cheetos. Super crunchy and the cheese pull was epic. They have a few sauce options too. They offer to roll your corn dog in sugar which was a nice salty and sweet contrast. I wish there was more kick/hot from the cheetos but overall so good!

I’ve never had these before today. Let me just tell you!!!!! The best corn dogs I’ve ever had in my life! So many varieties, great prices and the best customer service I’ve had in a long time. The owners and employees are very helpful, so caring and make you feel like you’re home away from home. Like literally, I could cry because they were so nice! I will be returning often! Please support this local Berkeley business! You won’t regret it. Plenty of easy parking nearby! Did I mention great prices? Your kids will love it too! My daughter and I are obsessed now! They made our dream of having Korean corn dogs that we’ve seen in the shows we watch, come to life and it was so worth it!!!!

Korean street food tucked away in a small space across from the Berkeley campus. Korean corn dogs are not as sweet as the American version since they don't use cornmeal. the crunchy potato cube coating is not greasy. One corndog is enough for a quick lunch Give it a try if you've never had one

What an authentic Korean snack! The batter is nice and thin, so fluffy! What is great about the Hotdog is you can hardly taste oily even though it is deep fried. It is so addictive! Sriracha and mustard bumps up the flavor!
